Reserved seats tomorrow
« on July 30, 2010, 05:38:09 pm by normal rules »
There is some chat on here about seats for tomorrow. We had six seat booked for south stand. Had a call from ticket office as we were season ticket holders to relocate us in west stand as south is shut. They are contacting season ticket holders as they do not want them messed around but there will be plenty who still think it's unreservedly so I can see a few bun fights.

Incidently Wednesday have up to now sold 1600 tickets and they can get tickets at km on the day. Should make for an atmosphere of sorts. I hope rovers are not going to shoot themselves in foot. By closing south stand. Depends on how many turn up on the day I suppose. Although I guess there room for 8500 in east and west

I wonder if something similar will operate for the League Cup game.

wouldnt it have been better to only sell tickets for east and west until they were sold out then start selling tickets for the south stand . just a thought .

And if it is the case of moving people from the south stand they should put signs up on the turnstiles saying UNRESERVED SEATING .  Otherwise how will people know which seats are free , I have 4 tickets for the south stand for tomorrow , so i need 4 seats together .

Sigh....

For the 2065th time, ticketing is the SMC's decision, not the Rovers.

If the SMC want to keep their stewarding costs down if the crowd isnt going to be big, then its their call to do so.
