Not been to any of the friendlies but from sounds of things he has done brilliant. Should definitely get him signed up.

Hard to judge from a friendly. He didn't do a lot wrong, probably got caught out a bit when Heffernan had a chance just before half time but also showed some good qualities. Certainly worth consideration as his experience would be handy. Would still like to see Caulker come in on loan if possible.

Just what we want - experienced, leader and physically strong! This helps off set against our main weaknesses, height and strength.
Two big guys with Martis in the middle as well!!! No brainer to me he brings alot to the party simples!!!

Not seen him so can't judge, but it sounds as if he is what we are missing. Strength.

Had another solid game today.

1 year deal wouldn't do any harm IMO.

Difficult I reckon, hasn't done much wrong & looks a good organiser, but would have thought we would have gone for much more of a ball playing centre back. Maybe he has done enough to earn a contract, but me personally wouldn't see him as first choice, just think we need a little more pace in there, especially if Martis (who as not had the best of pre-seasons in my opinion) will be partnering.

I reckon he's worth signing up. Not the be all and end all and let's face it. He didn't have to work too hard today marking Heffernan who doesn't exactly stretch anyone out of their comfort zone.

I'm not sure at all - I think we need better if we're to have a good season.

There was one point today when he was unhappy with how deep the defence were sitting, he just straightened his arms, walked forward and started shouting UP UP UP at the top of his voice, I thought he had a great game today, Dumbbuya looked great on the wing too.

Very happy with what I saw today    :)

dumbuya - Hope he succeeds and would be a real \"feather in the cap\" of the management team - given they plucked him from the non league!!!!!!

Thomas looks pretty promising.

Two 50/50's stuck in my mind.

One left Tudgay staggering from the pitch with blood pouring from a 4 inch gap in his forehead. The other was when fatty Mellor had the audacity to challenge for the ball, and he just bounced off Thomas's chest, leaving him flat out on the floor, rubbing his head and looking a bit dazed.

Top stuff in my book.

I'd give him a year.  Looked very solid and good in the air, we need that commanding centre back.  Wednesday didn't really threaten much.  I've been unsure though and it's hard to tell.  He's looked good but could we get better?  Not so sure.  One to have faith in the manager and see what happens.
