new pay outs and parachute payments

The deal distributes some of the income generated by the Premier League to the smaller clubs - £2.2m per Championship club, £335,000 per League 1 club and £225,000 per League 2 club.

Problem is every championship club has got that aswell, but atleast it helps give us an edge over alot of clubs from lower leagues than the Championship.

Whatever they get, it's a disaster for football. JR doesn't like it. And if he doesn't like it with his passion for all things Rovers, you have to at least ask 'why?' It's going to create Premiership 2. And we won't be allowed into Premiership 1 since no bugger other than the relgated clubs from the previous 3 seasons will have enough money to compete.

It's tantamount to crime. It's rigging the entire structure of football. Actually, I wonder if a private prosecution for corruption, malpractice and fraud would have anay legs...?
