Why does it cause problems ? There are limits to the number of loan players that can take the field in any one game, and there may be restrictions on the number of loans per season. So why shouldn't clubs exploit the loan system for their own advantage ? It's not true to say that London clubs will have exclusivity to players from London Premiership teams. We have had, Mason from Spurs, JET from Arsenal, Worley from Chelsea, Mills from Man City, Stock from Preston, the list goes on. Leeds are reported to be taking Henry Lansbury from Arsenal, Watford had Cleverley from Man U.Plus, does it matter how these are funded as long as clubs are operating within their means. I think the Football League however should be ensuring that fees are paid before other deals are done. As in the Cardiff case their transfer embargo should not have been lifted until Motherwell got their money, plus the other clubs who Cardiff are reported to owe.It should be the same for any club. If they default on any payment, whether that be to the tax man or another club, then a transfer embargo should be imposed until that debt is paid.
