Thomas injures Chopra

A Cardiff fan posted that over at TFF, suppose what we heard about Thomas was right! Looks quite bad that, it didn't seem so at the time though.

It does look bad,but that connection was the follow through after Thomas had won the ball.

It's about 21 secs in.

The position of Chopra's ankle in that photo has nothing to do with the tackle - he has already gone over on it at the time of impact of Thomas's tackle.

So claiming that Thomas injured Chopra is untrue - it was of his own doing - and an unfortunate accident.

More importantly does anybody know if Chops is out for a while, as I'll need to adjust my Fantasy Team?

does like he went in with two feet though even if he did win the ball first

Every defender worth his salt, when presented with a chance to win the ball and then take the player out, will take it.

The image is deceiving.  If you look his left leg is bent under his right leg as proven by the curvature of the knee.  So not two footed, I mean he can't cut his leg off.

looking at the video makes it look two footed but i think its just the angle that he has gone for the ball because usually defenders aren't going straight through from the front but standing off and making a sliding tackle from the side in a last ditch attempt to win the ball,
the bent leg would then be out at an angle rather than looking like a two footed challenge in the picture
