Right enough about budgets/attendances.

Even without money in the coffers (which I didn't think we had anyway)I still think we have a great squad and a manager who's far ahead of the majority of managers in this league.

We saw the signs on Saturday, with Oster's help, that we are beginning to put things together on the pitch and we should fear nothing.

With a bit of luck (we're getting penalties awarded !)and on suspensions and injuries, there's no reason why we can't do very well this season.

If we can get a good result at Watford it will set us up nicely for 2 home games against Norwich and...someone else ?

Top of the league anyone after 7 games ?

well said Baz - I believe people on here forget where we were a few years ago.
I'd much rather be playing the likes of Sheff Utd, Boro et al than Forest Green Rovers, Dover etc

No...no-one who has been a Rovers fan for more than a decade can forget where we've been... It was those same fans that bought shares in the club, that are now mysteriously ignored by the club....

Whatever did happen to all those shares bought by the fans all those years ago and which JR apparently said to one fan have no value as Rovers was effectively started over when he took control???  Never has been an explanation.

Frankly... It is fantastic what hass been achieved thanks to JR and to a lessee degree the km2. However, one cannot help but feel a bit like those fans that kept the club running through the darkest days count for shite all now to the club....

Never forget and do not let history be re-written to suit certain people....

Hear bloody hear!

'You can only f**k with the prick you've got' to coin an old phrase, so lets stop crying about not having a 14 incher and get on with doing the best we can with a very capable set of players and great management team.

Up the Rovers and drop the doom and gloom!

Yep I agree ... we have got the jewels we have but it wouldn't half help if we displayed them like jewellers and not from a Fecking stall in the market . Our Team Management is top class , our Board is top class except for the blind spot they have about the Business/ Marketing side of things ( off pitch).

I think our present and newer fans need a history lesson. To be honest, i'd love a Rovers museum, wouldnt have loads in it and would cost cash but would show our pride in our history. Alick Jeffery, The Snodins, Belle Vue, League Cup Run & the Leap frog up the leagues of the noughties and a sort of hall of fame. As i say, it wouldnt exactly be a moneymaker but imagine the day when one exists

However when i sit in my ,random i may add since i dont have a ST, seat at the KS and look at my team thump teams like Leeds United...I remember the days at Belle Vue on the terraces watching us concede early to Northwich Victoria, reading in the papers about Leeds chances at european glory and dreaming that Donny would beat them. Never has it been such a great time to watch the might Red and White Rovers!!!!
