In the last week he's had a dig at Darren Gough and now Ian Poulter on his twitter site. I think the fame and money has gone to his head. How he gets a radio show for being an average footballer is beyond me. As if he's not on enough at Derby , £30000 a week ??????. Now the license payers have to add to his pot
Lets hope someone brings him down a peg or 2

Best thing for fans to do Tuesday night is just ignore the to**er, he thrives on the abuse he takes and goes out of his way to attract it.

Go the other way - cheer him. Given the fact he feeds off being the Pantomime Villan/Dame this should throw him totally.

He's quite entertaining on the radio though.

Whatever we do....don't give the blonde haired to**er a free kick anywhere in range outside the box. Much as I despise his attitude he still takes a mean free kick. remember last year at the KM. And that wasn't a bad one on Saturday against Preston

He cheated though last year.  As soon as the ref turned to marshall the Rovers wall, he knocked the ball two yards to the right to give himself a better angle.

I must say, as obnoxious characters go, I quite like him.

I think Robbie Savage is a cracker. Under rated as a player, hated by opposition fans but would be in my team every week.

Always gives his all, has passion in abundance, and not afrtaid to speak his mind.

His progression onto radio was always likely to happen - idiots ring up and have a go at him but he will always argue his point - despite being honest enough to admit when he's in the wrong.

A true football \"character\" who is prepared to know his limitations and take the piss out of himself. I wish there were more like him!

i think he comes across on radio as a genuine guy but why he has to have a dig at fellow British sportsmen one who has been a success and one that is still successful is beyond me.

Jealousy perhaps

Or maybe he's a cock

or both

Spot on!  He'll be totally thrown at not getting the usual reaction and lose his focus while trying harder and harder to get the reaction he craves.  Could work to our advantage... but can you see everybody doing it?

He is absolutely class. I love the bloke. He was just havin a bit of banter with paulter. I'd go as far as saying if you don't like him you have no sence of humour.
