Rochdale have re-signed Leicester City defender Tom Kennedy on a three-month loan deal.

The 25-year-old left Spotland in the summer after signing a pre-contract agreement with the Championship side but has only featured in four games.

He told the club website: \"It has been frustrating time for me as we have had three different managers.

\"I had a few clubs that came in for me but to be honest there was only one League One club I wanted to go to.\"

Kennedy began his career at Bury after coming through their youth system before moving to Rochdale in the summer of 2007.

There is no doubt he is a Championship player and we are lucky to have his services back here.

Rochdale manager Keith Hill
He added: \"I know how good things are here at Spotland and I have fond memories of my time here. I want the team to do well, I always look out for Dale's result on a Saturday and I'm delighted to be back here.\"

Manager Keith Hill added: \"The chain of events at Leicester City haven't gone in Tom's favour and he has been unfortunate.

\"There is no doubt he is a Championship player and we are lucky to have his services back here and it is a place he wanted to come back to and that was important too.

\"We know him well and he has the quality we are looking for and he has experience too. He is a very good addition to the football club and he is the type of addition we need to make us stronger

Another money grabbing charlatan. He won't be bothered I guess. He'll still be picking up his pay cheque every week.

He's missed the boat now. Rather sign Joe Mills than that money grabber.

Wonder if we was one of the clubs showing an interest in signing him on loan recently before we signed Mills on loan?We must think he is a good prospect, having already tried to sign him permanently.Like with Shackell,we lost out to a club prepared to risk bigger wages on them than we would. It does not make the player no good.Like all work in life,if you are offered a better deal or more money, you take it unless there are some personal reasons for not wanting to,like not wanting to relocate or wanting first team football regular etc.
