Dutch - Like the stats - but may I suggest that you need to get out a little more often
As remarked before, James Hayter's goal yesterday meant he has scored in 5 consecutive league matches - a feat only achieved 25 times in Rovers' entire history. The last occasion was of course Billy last year who went on to score in 6 consecutive league matches (the 12th time that has happened in Rovers' history), but the previous occasion before that was as far back as Ian Nimmo in 1980-81. It was also James' 30th competitive goal for the club (league plus cups plus THAT goal). Copps has 32 so we now have two players at the club with 30+ goals for the first time since 2008 (Paul Heffernan and Paul Green), and prior to that 2003 (Paul Barnes plus Jamie Paterson), and then prior to that all the way back to 1984-5. Note Greg Blundell and Michael McIndoe also scored more than 30 for the club but Greg left before Macca reached 30, and he left before Heffernan or Green made it. Billy Sharp on 21 may well reach 30 this season. If so, and assuming no departures, this would be the first time the club would have three current players over 30 goals since 1984-5 (Glynn Snodin, Colin Douglas and Steve Lister) - in fact this has only happened 8 times in our entire league history (goalscorers have had a tendency to move on or be sold). All this is more evidence that thanks to JR we are no longer a selling club and our better players are staying longer.

Any idea on his total from his two spells?

And further to that point, what's our longest scoring streak in the second tier? Surely we must've beaten it?

Man Utd are a selling club,Arsenal are a selling club,Liverpool are a selling club,Stoke are a selling club,Inter are a selling club and so are Doncaster Rovers. If the right price comes along then we are a selling club.
