Probably in view of  the importance of enhancing the real estate side of the balance sheet .

Or maybe drafted in to do a deal over the stadium with the Council?  Presumably the new administration could flog the ground to Rovers without too much backlash, particularly if it raises a bit of cash in this age of austerity...

...reckon we can pick it up for 5 mil?

I note the question mark but how do you come up with a figure of £5 mill?

I think £10M to £20M was the figure being bandied about a year ago.

Personally I can't see it being anywhere near as low as £5M and I think we'd snap their hands off at that.

Unless you know anything more?

A lot of the Stadium will need to be refurbished soon such as the aircon. Which will have an effect on price.

Not sure any aircon was installed in the first place.  Definately none in the bar or Exec boxes

Aircon units have a life span ( guarentee) of 15 years.

Nah, just speculating like everyone else.  Point is, there's no competition to buy it, so the price is really down to what the current bunch of councillors would accept(or does the mayor make the decision in the mad world of Donnygate?), which may be surprisingly little once \"the comprehensive spending review\" (aka \"cutbacks in the places that least afford them\") begins to bite.

So Woking, if I interpret what you're saying correctly, you're just talking b*llocks?

Good to meet a kindred spirit!
