SO'D chapter coming to an end?
« on December 18, 2010, 01:29:11 pm by Red Rover »
SO'D is possibly the best Rovers manager we have had in my lifetime and what we are experiencing now is down to him, but is it time for him to leave?

To have a manager who never ever rules himself out for any other managerial job going, it cant be good for the players never knowing how long he will stay. He never speaks passionately about the club and has recently looked more glum than usual. We are on the cusp of the playoffs and he doesn't seem to be too excited and wants to talk to a dreadful team near the bottom of our league! If Yeovil boss got sacked I'm sure he wouldn't rule himself out of that either!

In a nutshell, he always seems to be wanting out  :(

Good grief man, I hope he doesn't read that! We are playing attractive football and look like we'll finish incrementally higher yet again this season. As long as that keeps happening he can wear a black veil and bawl his eyes out on the touchline as far as I'm concerned!

Surely if he wantd out he would have resigned when Burnley were looking to avoid paying compensation? I find his honesty fairly refreshing. As for the players, I'd imagine should a decent career move come up for them (not that I'm saying Sheff U is that) I'm sure they wouldn't rule themselves out of that.
