Players' attitude today

Criminal IMO.  One thing we've always had is fight and like Leicester away we lacked character today.  I'll applaud a team who plays poorly, no issue there, but to show a lack of character - pissed off to be honest.

Sean will not be happy about the lack of responsibility, the clear arguing after the first goal achieved nothing but getting them all angry with each other - how does that help?

Bizarre how the same team near enough that played so well last week was so poor today.  Reading weren't great, we gifted them 3 goals - terrible.

Agree BFYP. They didn't look interested.

I was quite amazed by the lack of fight. I hate it when other teams make these sort of excuses when we beat them, but I'm going to have to be a hypocrite, because we made it far too easy for Reading today. That was the disappointing thing.

I think it fell apart once Millsy went off.

Reading closed us down & got in our faces, forcing us into mistakes & overhit passes, couple that with the fact that too many players were under par & hey presto, a comprehensive home defeat.

I'll make the same point I made after the Leicester game - it's poor that we have this kind of attitude considering the ages and experiences of most of our players. Most are in the late 20's/early 30's and have played plenty of games in their careers - Locky, Wilson, Copps, Oster, Sulli, Hayter - we need to be tougher. We seem to be improving the poor stat we used to have under SOD about going behind but we still don't seem to have enough leaders.

I mean the wingbacks idea. I think Chambers should've come on instead of Friend, and we should've gone 4-4-2.
