Good find! I remember it well, got offered £90 for my ticket the second I stepped off the coach but thought there's no way I've gone all that way to miss the occasion.

Spent all game thinking it could turn nasty at any point with the Brighton fans in the stand to our right, but the rapport between the two sets of supporters after the match is one of my best footballing memories. Seeing Brighton fans walking round the streets afterwards with advertising boards and toilet seats round their necks was a surreal experience.

I got my seat from the Goldstone Ground that day. Sold it on ebay about 6 years ago for 400 quid!

That's 800 quid I've got sitting around at home then. Remember the corner flags getting on one of the Rovers coaches as well. I had a bit of the pitch in a plant pot for years afterwards.

Damn, only thing I got that day was a bunk-up from a bird I met in a nightclub  B)

You're just jealous that you couldn't even pull any of the front row of a woman's rugby team and had to share a room with LJ in the puffs palace  :P
