Buying tickets over the phone
« on March 25, 2011, 04:37:48 pm by streatham dave »
As a rover in exile I can't get to the keepmoat very easily to get tickets. I tried getting two for the Bristol away match using the keepmoat site. For some reason I couldn't not sure why. I decided to ring instead and got the usual press 1-6 thing depending on what you want. 3 is away tickets so I pressed only to listen to how Leeds and Derby tickets are now on sale with dates mentioned(which have passed) and prices. I hung up and pressed 6 to speak to a real person. Now can I just say the member of staff I spoke to was fine. All Rovers staff I have always found good in shop or on the phone. As it was after 4pm on a Friday (4.10) I have to ring back tomorrow which is fine. I explained about the message for informations sake and explained that I thought It sounded a bit of an amatureish message particularly if a floating fan/ first timer rings through. I was told that it was the responsibility of IT department but that message would be passed on. I think it is important that the club get even little things like this correct. I know we on here can't really change things like that although hopefully Gareth might be able to have a word but thought I would share as to be honest I was a bit shocked.
