Hope we sign Murphy. Clearly a capable goalkeeper and he's definitely within our price range (free) so we can have no excuses.

We MUST sign Murphy. Scunny fan at work says he's absolute quality & is gutted that he's leaving.

I'd take them both. Both very good players.

If there was a choice between the two of them, I would plump for Mirfin, we need a strong CB and he fits that bill

Murphy had a £1m price tag on his head not too long ago, thought he had a poor season by his standards last season though.

Wouldn't turn my nose up at Josh Wright either - come on Rovers play your cards and get two out of these three (at least) here!

In my honest opinion we would be absolutely stupid not to make every effort to get Murphy. It would be ridiculous to let this opportunity pass by while there is no transfer fee involved.

Mirfin could be useful too, but Murphy should be a priority.

What I would love to see is what in SOD's little black book of potential targets, how many of us predicted Matt Mills, Richie Wellens, Brian Stock, John Oster. I know that can be countered with Byron Webster etc. ( I' m excluding most of last seasons loanees as they were emergency  'beggars can't be choosers' choices.

In SOD I trust.
