Some jour no posted on twitter this morning that Forest faced competition from Coventry and us for the signing of Giles Barnes.

Chris Hogg is a top centre back. He's worth a trial easily. I might put it on SOD's twitter before Yeovil fans start suggesting him to Terry Skiverton.

I'd like Chris Brown here. Poor goalscoring record really, but we don't need a goal grabber, we need something a bit different or somebody who can compliment Billy. I was impressed with Brown's hold up play when PNE came to the Keepmoat last season. I think we need someone who can do that at times.

He would be ideal but again I think wages might be an issue.

I reckon we're more likely to get someone similar to Clive Platt at Coventry - though it won't be Platt himself as he's under contract for another 12 months.

Douglas from Swindon, been outstanding for them last couple of seasons, add a bit of gritt to the midfield.

Rory Fallon would prove a great foil for BS.

Jason Koumas, if he gets fit and game time one of the best midfielders in the Championship.

Meite from WBA, looks like Martis, but miles better and would add experience to the back 4.

Kevin Phillips, out and out goalscorer wherever hes been, great to have as back up for BS.

Ramon Rose - seem to remember he was hot stuff a few years back and a few 'Big' Clubs were looking at him
