Was it not true last season if the table was made up on first half scores only that we was in the top third most of the season and it was our second half performances that let us down so bad points wise that we ended up fourth from bottom?No wonder if they keep training matches and friendlies to 45 mins only for each player then is it then???

Amazed we are only giving the players 45 minutes again and fielding a load of odds and ends, again.

I can only assume that the thinking behind it is that we're so utterly skint and lacking in options that we can't possibly risk any injuries or we won't even be able to cobble together 16 players next Saturday.

What was it Sir A. Ferguson said today......something like..... \"last season my players had too many 45 min games and not enough 90min ones in pre season games, and it showed in the early games\".

Now i know they went on to win the premiership, but i think he made a valid point. Fitness levels were not there for start of season.

Now i know they went on to win the premiership, but i think he made a valid point. Fitness levels were not there for start of season.
