I think the snippet that we got inferred that there would need to be council meetings to approve this, and as it is such a hot potato as far as public funds go, I expect it will have to go to a meeting of the full council.

I don't think it's supposed to be in the public domain at the moment.

Its clearly being considered.  I went to one of the Loyalty Card intro meetings with the marketing department and they wouldn't be drawn on the issue (and its doubtful that they's know) but made mention a number of times of practical uses that could be brought in IF we owned the stadium.  It did seem as if everything they were doing with the loyalty card trials was being set specifically so that it could work with amendments later on, where those alterations required ownership of the KM

It's a big IF, but if the progress that the club has made under JR continues then the next logical step is having a go in the Premiership.  On the basis that we did a Bolton or a Wigan rather than a Reading, Hull, Burnley or Blackpool, there would come a point where expanding the capacity would make sense.  Owning the place would presumably make that simpler.

A few ifs and woulds in that, but we can but be optimistic.

The last I heard was that the meek shall inherit the ground (or something to that effect).
