I think Chris Brown had a great game last night. Maybe looked slightly overweight, but that will come off with game time. Had some great touches, brought others into play well. Ok, we were only playing a very poor Tranmere team but it was a positive start. Really don't think we need to worry about bringing another striker in, unless he gets injured of course, then we are up slack alley! We had nothing up there wen he went off last night. Giles Barnes, striker he is not!

think your jumping the gun there mate, i thought giles played well when he came on he ran at their defence and looked pretty fast too!!! he hasn't had a chance yet plus that free kick he took wasnt far over the bar! looks better than martin woods at free kicks any way!!!
i think woodsy will struggle to get a first team place now the likes of barnes and bennet are here! i just hope we can get mason fit soon. him and browny paired up nicely! and with mason going off injured we didnt really get to see him pair up with barnes like we did with  brown!
