Hillsborough Petition
« on August 22, 2011, 07:15:18 am by Hag »
I can't believe this, but the government is STILL trying to get out of publishing the Hillsborough documents and so an online petition has been started, read more about it here....  BBC

The petition is here....  Petition

100,000 signatures are needed and they have 80 odd thousand up to yet.

Don't forget to click the link in your conformation email or your signature wont be added.
After signing the petition it says it might take a few hours for you to receive conformation, I got mine almost immediately.

I agree with your sentiments, but tell me an online petition that's ever achieved anything.

If an e-petition obtains 100,000 signatures then the House of Commons backbench business committee has to consider whether to give it time for debate.

The rate at which the petition was signed accelerated after it was tweeted on Wednesday night by the Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish, who wrote \"Think it is very important that we support this\".

Regardless of whether or not it makes it into the Commons as a debate, the fact that it's nearing 100k signatures is good PR, and goes towards pressure for documents to be released.

It would be good if the Documents were released. Would just give me yet ANOTHER reason to piss on Thatchers grave... When she eventually goes that is!!

NOT that I need any more reasons!!

As long as she doesn't get a state funeral. I for one CERTAINLY don't want to be paying for that evil fcking Bitch to have a respectable 'send off' as she goes back down to meet her maker!!

I would, and have it on tv and everything. Just to make sure it's gone.

Or we could use this bloke's plan..
