My view on things

I've watched us very closely a fair bit of late and have built a few views, which no doubt people on here will disagree with and tell me I should be a manager sarcastically, but here we go...

Overall, our concept of football is great. The only problem is we're doing it wrong. We're playing in our own half - whereas the good football playing teams in Britain and abroad play with their defence on half way line and play in front of them.

Secondly, long balls. We cannot defend a long ball comfortably. I've seen several heart in moments where their keeper will just launch a ball deep into our half and our defenders fail to deal with it with any ease.

Lastly, concentration. After long spells of possession, some players have continuously been found guilty of playing outrageously speculative balls and even misplacing simple passes.


However, there are positives! We have a long list of injuries and without any more serious injuries, we'll have a full squad to pick from, what looks to be November onwards. With a full squad for 5 months, we have no need to worry about relegation. We just need to keep fit, keep playing with a few differences and keep supporting the lads!

very easy to be sarcstic, when alot of what hes saying is right. What frustrates me is when its hird who pumps the ball long due to a lack of short ball options everybody moans, so they pass it back to the gk and again everybody moans! Easiest game in the world from the stands fellas!

I know, I am sitting in the middle of a delegation of about 20 retired football managers in the east stand. Could punch them all on nose-end sometimes, but theres's probably some law!
