Would've preferred a quality center half in. Although I guess it does free up George Friend to move back into the middle.

You seem pretty indifferent to Chimbonda. In my opinion I think it's a quality signing, and should have a good impact on our league position!

Exciting signing but let's face facts he'll probably be crocked after a couple of weeks and out for six months.

Drop Martis from the team after the last 2 games?  Some people don't half talk some shit on here!!!

Chimbonda is an excellent signing for us.  Short term or not.

Nice one mutley, i'm with you on this one. Martis is looking solid, a bit more confidence in him and he will recapture the form that got him in the premier league

Neither can I.

But that's because no-one is.

Agreed. He's been very good and Naylor has done well. As a unit, they are still all over the place at times in terms of holding a line, but they're getting better. Not sure who's making the calls and I'm not sure if they know.

Martis even tried a bit of ball juggling in the corner late on. He did put it out for a corner but full marks for trying after he initially won the ball back.

Are we talking about the same George Friend who always looks like  he's going to fall over when he runs?

No, think were talking about the George Friend who is our player of the season so far by an absolute mile.

I agree mush GF has been awesome this season, infact i remember thinking yesterday that we could do with another 10 players just like him, what a player   :clapping:

Martis has been brilliant the last two games, he was my man of the match last night.

Some people go to a different bloody stadium when we're at home don't they! Madness.

Can you imagine if this forum ever got to the point where after every original post to a thread there was just an endless string of \"Agreed\"s.

Why is it in my silly little mind that your lot refer to George Friend as \"GF\", a gay American voice in my head says \"Girrrl Friend\"?

Martis was an awesome loan signing when he first played for us, strong, competent and confident with the ball and we were (on this forum crying out for his permanent capture) we got it, and now he gets a lot of knockers! He's laid back and appears lazy but is a cut above Hird, Lockwood et al in my opinion, I was impressed by his use of the ball on Tuesday, and am sure he'll come good (in everyone's eyes) in the end - it felt like a bit of a coup when we signed him and am sure it'll feel that way if he stays injury free and plays regularly!
