It's a hard job killing football in every league you go to. Stressful.

You're right- and he's flounced out of two other high profile jobs in a way that suggested the pressure was getting to him.

Because in the absence of any actual hard evidence, it's human nature for normally rational human beings to invent theories that blame events on some plot or conspiracy, rather than put them down to a far more likely but ultimately dull explanation (like 19 consecutive league games without a win).
