Team Building and Stability
« on November 01, 2011, 07:20:19 pm by madmick50 »
Just listened to an interview with Tony Mowbray (Middlesborough's manager) and he said '' it's very difficult for a manager to build a team and put some stability behind your club''. He was intimating that this is a prerequisite for a club to have any chance of success. Why can't the powers that be at Rovers not realise that their current policy does the opposite and should be abandoned immediately.

Yeah, absolutely no point ever trying anything different is there?! Let's abandon everything, never try anything new and go back to living in caves.

I'm all for trying something new but when what's being tried is so obviously flawed then just because its something new doesn't make it good. For example, putting our goalkeeper up front and putting our main striker in goal would be trying something new but would obviously fail. You need to think this through and not fall for the 'spin'.

And when will supporters realise they need to do what they are called and support their team, get behind them and the management(whoever they currently are) and get us to the point where Deano, near enough has the squad and right players he wants so they can repay the supporters and club with better results and get us back up the table to safety.Continuous moaning and groaning will not help at all.:headbang:

I couldn't give a shit how \"happy\" the dressing room is, we need results and need 'em now. If EHD or anyone else puts any member of our first teams nose out of place the unfucking lucky, they are still getting paid.

No, but the \"something old\" saw us bottom of the league! Any man who keeps doing what he's always done and expect different results is an idiot.

And sure, signing former-£10m strikers and playing them up front is identical to \"putting our goalkeeper up front and putting our main striker in goal\" isn't it!??!? I think your metaphor needs a bit of work there buddy!

All you who say support the management and stop moaning are sheep incapable of thinking for yourselves. If I think the management have got it wrong then it is my duty to say so. I'm just surprised that there are so many sheep out there that think what the management is doing is a worthwhile strategy. It's obvious to anyone who knows anything about football that the strategy is lunacy. The more people that tell them this then the more chance they will realise what idiots they are making of themselves and then can change course before its too late.

I think Dean Saunders has no alternative than to keep on doing what he is doing. Bringing in new players to improve the team and hopefully getting rid of some of the crap left when he took over.
Gillet runs and runs and tries his best. It's a shame he cannot tackle or control a ball however. Friend was talked about being our next million pound player. If anyone seriously thinks that after his display tonight then they must be on something.

Strategies develop. Pieces of jigsaws don't just fall in to place. Management is an ongoing day by day quest to seek ways of improvement. Seem to think Mowbray himself had a tough time last season when he had to manage out quite a number of players.

'Any member of our first teams nose out of place'

Just who's nose has been put out exactly ???
