Has anybody else heard the rumours of Stocky going on loan to Burnley, Mason gone back to Spurs for good?

Yes and Yes. Oster asked about it on Twitter, knew nothing about Stock but said if it was any team it would be Burnley. Didn't seem surprised

Be a disgrace if Stocks now gone. By January we're just going to be a team of ex African flops. No wonder they wanted rid of Odriscoll they need a nodding dog in charge.

Got to ask why we couldn't guarantee him a starting place when he is one of the best players in the squad... Its quite frankly pathetic that we have let such a talented player go. No doubt we'll bring in an overweight, overhyped, old hasbeen to replace him.

Stock is injured more often than he plays and has shown no where near the form of a couple of seasons ago, people need to leave sentiment out of their judgement and move on!

Yes but he could have one leg and be better and do more than shadow chaser, look busy every 2nd touch a tackle Gillett.

I agree, and that`s why they both need replacing, it`s the old guard that have put us in free fall since the start of the year!

You have to ask yourself if Stock was as bad as everyone is making out, why would a CCC club be coming in for him? We shouldn't be loaning any of our players to a team in the same division. Simple as.

I have n`t seen one credible scrap of evidence to suggest Stock is going to Burnley, I think some people think Twitter and Facebook are gospel!

Thats fairly easy to answer. Stock is on say 6K a week, club to which he is loaned ( unless prior agreement reached ) only have to pay 1/3 of that, so for 2k they get a player who might do a month if they are lucky. So 8K paid out, if they tried to sign same permanent i guess he be worth 100K or so, and still only play 3 or 4 games.
