I cannot remember the last occasion I was as incensed by a teams antics as cheating Southampton.

Thankfully the result means I can whinge without it being sour grapes

The officials were berated for their performance but at some stage the authorities have to take these cheats to task, it's spoiling the game

add in the Southampton player who chased the referee waving an imaginary card to get Hird the yellow card

We won and I'm still fuming - some of us are just never bloody happy

Yeah i thought the ref reacted to a southampton player to book hird, the ref wasnt watching when sam kicked the ball away because sam was behind him!

Must be something about the south coast, Portsmouth were like that last season. Pity when refs cave in under pressure

I cant believe he ran like a little kid to the Ref saying \"sir sir he just kicked that down there to time waste\" What happened to professional integrity.

The Ref fell for it and he was as I have said many times this Season an absolute Kn*****d.

The funniest thing for me was when Southampton got a harsh free kick in the first half.
Our wall consisted of Billy and Gillett. They kept tip toeing forward, they must have gained
a couple of foot. Billy was jumping up and landing further forward whilst Gillett was standing
on tip-toe and the coming down further forward, hilarious.

I enjoyed whoever it was in the weststand who decided to lay into Saint's left-back Fox every time he took a corner. Not a single one on target. Job done!
