Just thought I'd check his progress (anyone who doesnt know me, i posted a view as a baggies fan of him signing for you guys,)

I'm assuming he's near proper match fitness now ? I think its vastly understated how important real match fitness is. When he got into real fitness with us, his speed was stretching teams like sunderland and leicester, very good crossing and set plays

Has he done anything good / bad ? Im sure its more like I said, rather than antics derby fans reckon he got up to in the last 5 years

Any good / bad reports off the pitch ?

Well he is normally coming off the bench, tbh i have been a bit dissapointed with him,he had a lot to live up to as i can remember seeing him murder teams on the telly. However he is a lot bigger lad now and quite frankly seems to be in a bit of limbo..I still dont know where his best position is,we have been playing him in the centre and im not sure that suits him..

Still think he's carrying too much timber, could go either way for him here, shows the occasional glimpse but needs to offer a lot more...

I thought he looked much improved when he came on against Southampton. Seemed to have a bit more pace, went in for more challenges and had one shot from distance.

Agree there's room for improvement, so hopefully he'll still have eneough time as I think he can still come good!

He seems to have slimmed down lately, and I think his performances have improved as a result. He didn't look anything special at first, but has really impressed me lately.

Well I was beginning to think he was another one with loads of promise if only....

Having been out for a while and not contributing very much, his cameo v Watford showed he's lost some weight and in a more central midfield role he looked half decent.

Cue a full half v Southampton he showed up well again. He has all the attributes and if he can get more comfortable with that role and with the players around him I think we've got a player on our hands. He brings what Woods could have brought to the table. Sooner or later he's going to break the back of the net with one of runs towards the box.
