let's be fair - it was a very soft penalty, all he did in my opinion was stand his ground.

Hird played well, stock had best game for ages.
I obviously love sharp but thought he was a disgrace, no work seemed to be hiding behind defenders the whole game. Touched the ball about ten times, scared of getting injured is what it looked like.

I thought Hird played ok,atleast he made a effort to stop the ball being put into the box on the own goal and the penalty was a joke of a decision.

Thought Stock was magnificent and had his best game for month's,Diouf also showed real class,he doesn't have the pace of Fortune but he makes up for it with his skill when holding the ball up.

Barnes was awful and shown awful first touch's,seemed to only want to tackle and chase the ball when it suited him. He's a luxury to be brutally honest and if he is wanting a hefty wage then i won't be too disappointed to wave him goodbye. He's never looked fit anyway even when he's had a fair run out.

Gillett did better than he normally does but still not good enough, plenty of effort but afraid he lacks the talent needed to succeed at this level.

Think it's harsh to criticize Woods on yesterdays performance, although he let 3 in he was hardly at fault for any of the goals and he made a couple of decent saves and more importantly his kicking was much-improved.

Sharp did look to pull out of a few tackles although i thought the effort was there and even though he was far from his best he still looked our biggest goal threat, still not quite sure how that header never went in at 1-0.
