problems made simple!
« on January 02, 2012, 11:42:02 am by raggytash »
Firstly, how can a championship club have a realistic ambition, when quite simply the board are absolutley clueless, and consisently lie to the support.

Secondly, again the board, with mckays interefernce and power, its his personnel wealth before drfc.

Thirdly, the board, appointing dean saunders is beyond most of us,how on earth this appointment was made is a joke.

Fourth, the board.

BE ALL, IF THEY CANT RUN A STEADY SHIP, PUT US FOR SALE!! PS HOW MUCH OF BILLYS SALE GO ON PLAYERS?? ILL GO f**k ALL.

What a plank.  I mean this board didn't take us from non league.

AS for the cash from Billy's sale, given the board paid for the sale out of their pocket, what would be the problem with them taking a bit back?

When will people realise John Ryan has limitations too and cannot afford to supplement the club to the current levels. We have had 3 fantastic years in the championship and still have a slim chance of staying up this season. Whatever happens this season I will renew my season ticket and hope idiots like the guy who started this thread don't because it will be a better place without them.

People also must realise that the club has limitations.

You can't run a club on league one gates and expect to stay in the championship year on year.

Then the club need to work on getting better gates better promotions etc.

We all know the clubs is pi$$ poor with promoting itself and keeping the fans there.

No Pre Match Entertainment
No Half time Entertainment
No Atmosphere
£27 an Adult ticket
£10 for kids

Need I say more?

I wasn't able to get season tickets on the current options. I have a family of 3 lads that all want to go, but becomes very expensive. I couldnt get them a season ticket as it needed to be an adult one bought too, so to take all 3 would cost me more after 4 games than a ST for them, with an average spend of £60 plus food, parking, programmes on home games. I wont be the only one that faces this dilema.

The club doesn't do enough for the families and thats your problem with gates.

I hear you on the price front as most people in Donny would struggle to pay that week in week out. They did 'cheapen' a lot of matches last year though, with a lot of £10 games etc. I think the fact remains that the fan base/interest just isn't there. 10k through the gate IMO has always been decent for us and I think we will struggle to improve upon that.
Staying in the championship again is the only hope of improving the fanbase, along with the odd stellar signing.
