How spawny is the winner? a shot from 25 yards hits a Leeds player, kills the ball stone dead into the path of Bechio, their first goal came from a favourable loose ball after a long range shot was blocked as well!

with their first goal the thing that annoys me is stock should take Mcormack out just dont let him turn we did it aginst blackpool let taylor-fletcher turn and run at us. our players should know to bring them down and go and defend the free kick. were just not ruthless at all

It was a poor excuse for a tackle by Mr.Stock.

A fantastic servant to the club and one of best players in recent history, but Stock is no longer good enough to play in the Championship in my opinion. Awful tackler, no presence at all, not the physical player I think we need in midfield.

Barnes and Gillett huffed and puffed but again in my opinion not good enough.

As ridiculous as this might sound, why not try for Peterborough...

I await to get ridiculed for that suggestion! But if Saunders is saying Plessis isn't ready...and based on this season Oster, Stock, Barnes, Gillett just aren't strong enough, and Woods still regaining fitness...worth a try?

Hird has shown before his cannot play infront of the back four, IMO. Beye is a left back, not sure if he could play midfield either? Hayter only really plays attacking midfield. Woods needs a couple more games under his belt to get back into it, but I would agree we need a more physical midfielder alongside stock. Oster likes playing the quick passes/tippy tappy stuff, which worked under SOD but obviously we don't play like that any more, hence why I think he is struggling. Gillett runs around a lot, but never really seems to make a tackle or complete a pass?

At the game on Saturday it just seemed like we were crying out for our midfield to get their foot on the ball and say \"we're holding on to this lead\". Giles Barnes came over to take a throw in in front of the away fans after 55-60 mins and looked knackered. Pretty sure he should have tracked Clayton for the equaliser as well. Stock looked like he was dispossessed for the first and I personally thought he looked too weak to be playing in a Championship midfield.

If you're referring to the Accrington game where Hird played in front of the back four and was shocking, remember at the time his confidence was at a massive low with the way SOD was using him. He's much more confident now and I think he could do a better job than Barnes for sure.

As for Beye, yes hes never played midfield before but again I think with his qualities as a footballer he could do a better job than Gillett and Barnes despite playing his whole career in defense.
