Hits back at Ken Bates over rovers transfer policy and tells him how it is :scarf:

I like this, more people should stand up to the likes of Bates in football who thinks he can says what he wants and not think of the consequences.

Leeds are the biggest team out the top six and also have a local economy that is one of the best in the country....

How the f**k he can have a go out our club beyond belief when we cant attract the good players like they could.

The reason there not? Cos of him not spending it on the team!

May is long continue cos lets not the score line detract from a good beating from Rovers and with better finishing and the woodwork we could have thrashed em by at least 5!

Old Willie McKay, the voice of Doncaster Rovers!

We heard any comments from Dean Saunders or John Ryan yet or just him?

You don't have to make comment every time he's mentioned you know,, especially when it's something positive he's done. It dilutes your argument.

Sorry Mr Bates that we can't afford a £12m p/a wage budget like your club can.

Maybe we should start charging away fans £36 per head and we might be able to attract good players the normal way.

You dont have to comment or qoute me everytime i write something on here either, but you do.

The only comments we've heard since the team lost yesterday is from McKay slagging off the oppositions owner.

We havent even heard from our own Manager yet ffs!

Both teams were in effect held in custody (albeit by their own dressing rooms, no arrests made) by the police for questioning. Our best bet currently is to stay out of the media for a few days because they will not want to know anything about the game and only ask questions about the incident.

For all we know one or more of our players could be facing club discipline procedures and may be the reason why they aren't commenting, the same could be said about Leeds and the FA may be investigating.

There are too many rumours and I think it will do the club no harm by saying nothing about the match until it is safe to do so...

BIB: Dalglish refused to anser questions on the handshake refusal againt Man U but he still commented on the game. Maybe the best option is to keep quiet and not do any media interviews, its still a bit wrong that the only person involved in our club who's spoke since the game has been Willie McKay.

Which again is fair enough if true.

No police charges we're brought though so nothing as stopped us from commenting today. Even if its just a quick message to our official site.

I expect we'll probably comment tomorrow.

It is true, and I doubt Saunders will be working today.
Fully expect comments about the game tomorrow

Was only going by what radio Sheffield said and the free press. They should be the ones that know. Maybe Gary was allowed to interview him after the rovers coach had left

Redfearn is no longer manager though Filo ;) he was the first team coach today, but Leeds official manager is Warnock

That said he was interviewed by BBC after game. Considering that Saunders bares all to the press (ie Diouf agrees 18 month deal a month before he finally signs?) it was best that he kept quiet and went home.

As someone said yesterday on twitter; we haven't seen the end of this...

His comments smack of a bitter man, a certain play-off final anyone, how sad.
