Big difference between Penney, that was a Johnstone paint trophy game. This is probably the biggest game in years for us, and to sing songs about their coaching staff is wrong in my opinion. Sends out the wrong message to our players.
Applaud him when he comes out but chants like sods Barry army is totally wrong.

 Tbh when Penney came we were taunting him with chants such as \"Penney what's the score?\" But after game we gave him an ovation and cries of \"One Dave Penney\".

But tomorrow will be the first time we meet SOD, and if our fans want to applaud him for what he did here then they are well within their right. He gave people of Doncaster the best years of Football for over 50 years.

But I totally agree that we shouldn't be chanting 90 minutes of SOD's Barmy Army. Maybe one chant of 'One Sean O'Driscoll' before the match will suffice...

I did just say that applauding would be the right thing to do

Not truly JRs decision and if it was then its the first I have disagreed with

Give Saunders a chance there are a lot of positives to come out of his tenure and without his man management the Mckay situation would have been impossible!

I have grave doubts SOD would have united the team in the same say as Saunders.

He has been fair to everyone and the 11 players (in the main) on Sat earned their place on merit!

The fitness levels are much better and we are still in with a fighting chance.

Sadly people like you are the reason this is being de-railed negative all the time and have not moved on from a situation that happened in August.

SOD had to go end of and Saunders has done his best in difficult circumstances.

What's the title of this thread again?

Norfolk old boy, I think you're seriously losing it in the last few days. This love of Ryan is great for you and all of us, but you're bordering on mania.

Have you ever seen Misery or Fatal Attraction

Surely the nicely behaved thing would be to give Sean a cheer when he comes on before the game, he did us proud for a long time after all.
I would think he deserves that mark of respect.

Once that whistle blows he then becomes just another opposite number..

SOD was good for us, tonight he is with the opposition, and that makes him the enemy and thus should not be cheered!

eg
\"Who the sodding hell are you.\"
Sean's a scab, Sean's a scab...

Wouldn't be good, would make us look silly, and makes no sense in any way. The mans a genius, a hero and a saint. Am just giving examples of the terrible things that could be said. Not implying anything like, Mr O'D and your legal representitives.

If we are losing and not playing well tonight it is nailed on that some will start singing for SOD.
