Nonsense he was given the chance, the players and the support and still blew it. You're still not getting it are you.  :headbang:

That is nonsense,
He's never had support from many fans, he's had no money to spend, the experiment was the only option available to bring in players, he's lost our best player.
Yes he's failed now and possibly should be replaced but this horrendous form has been going on for close to 100 matches now and 2 managers have failed. One a proven excellent manager, and he couldn't bring results with these players.

Supporters werent divided over SOD remaining in charge. A poll on here was 98% in favour of him staying in post. Probably on account of him managing to turn it round in the first season, his track record, his experience of slogging up the coaching ladder at Bournemouth, his ability to develop/spot emerging talent, his relentless scouting when not managing the team, I could go on. Compare that with Deano and the contrast is alarming

Excellent post. I agree 98%.

98% of how many? Hardly representative of what ALL supporters think though is it?

Yes he did turn it around when he first came. But who did he turn it around from? He couldn't do anything right when he first came and most of the fans though JR had made a huge mistake and wanted rid of him.

It's a case of deja vu really........ Except some people have short memories.........or selective memories.

I think a poll that shows 98% support is pretty conclusive. How you can possibly argue any differently is amazing. You seem to be digging a deeper and deeper hole for yourself every time you post.

Are you going to answer the question then?
How many people voted in your poll?

I don't know. It was Capmeister that mentioned it. I've not seen it.

The lot of you are so unnecessarily harsh on Saunders. It's like you expect him to say every possible combination of words in order to satisfy you all.

Whilst ever I have a hole in my arse Saunders will not be a quality manager - is that harsh enough?

Out of his depth...and like the saying goes 'A good workman never blames his tools', as has been muted its excuse after excuse "Mummy! Burnley had an extra days prep than us....its not fair!"

I've no reason to assume Capmeister is lying. Do you? If so what evidence do you have? Why do people always assume folk are making things up when it doesn't suit their own misguided views?

I`m only quoting one of your statements, facts is what you deal in, you said it yourself1

You`ve no reason to assume I`m lying, so I`ll say the poll did n`t exist, you`ve not seen it, you have no reason to disbelieve me, so there you go, that`s how stupid some of your posts are!

I'd rather believe Capmeister than someone who argues the toss just for the sake of it just because you don't like my point of view because it reflects badly on you mate Saunders.

You've also got me confused with madmick. It was him who only dealt in facts. I'm not that good and haven't got as good sources like what he had. It is credit to him that even though everything he predicted has come to pass he hasn't reappeared to gloat.
