The first point we have gained at Middlesbrough since 1957 and you post that rubbish.

Some of our so called fans are unbelievable.

You need to wake up and smell the coffee mate or are you happy to be the worst team in the league?  we will crash out of the next one if he stays.

This threads completely original, not like we haven't had 6 like it this week.

Let Saunders be judged on his own team next season instead of what's been forced on him. If he does shit then there's a reason to get rid.

JR's made one huge mistake with the 'strategy'. I don't think he'll make another. Saunders out now!!!!

Not been too impressed so far but surely he needs to be given a chance to build HIS team in the summer and see how things go next season.  Combined with the fact he is under contract for another couple of years I think maybe JR will stick by him.

Glad to see the end of the Mckay involvement with the club personally but I still think Saunders could make use of Mckay's contacts to attract players to the club next season, rather than Mckay deciding who comes and goes.

So are you suggesting that every club that gets relegated sacks their Manager?

Go and support Man Utd you pillock because you certainly don't support Doncaster Rovers.

What Saunders has done to deserve a chance to build his own squad in League One is something I really struggle to see. Just why does he deserve that chance? He acheived little at Wrexham. Their fans were far from disappointed when he left. He's strolled into this job on the back of McKay's genius plan to fire us into the play offs.

This season has been an absolute shambles and sadly I've seen absolutely nothing that gives me any confidence that future seasons under Saunders will be any different.

Wrexham were top of the table when he left!!!
Bournemouth fans weren't sorry to see SOD go when he left!!!

Maybe you should take the blinkers off.

They were top after less than 10 games. If that's his only achievement as a manager then I ask the question again, what has Saunders done to deserve a chance to build a new squad in League One?

About the same as the guy who got us promoted from League One had done. Look what happened when he was allowed to build his own team.

Saunders has had nearly a full season to prove himself with arguably the best ever squad assembled. He has failed miserably. he's had more than a fair crack of the whip. He must go and the sooner the better.

I strongly suggest we make a "Dean Saunders Discussion Thread" and just keep it all in there. This has to literally the 20th thread of EXACTLY THE SAME CONTENT in the last few weeks.

That's because most donny fans want this clown out of our club he's utterly clueless and it seems only a few people on here and jr thinks he can still do a job time to get rid ASAP

Whilst I am yet to be convinced by DS, and in all honesty wouldnt lose any sleep if JR decided to get rid. I do wonder if we can afford to sack him.

Tactics is my biggest question.

Interesting on radio Sheffield last night, he stated he hasnt signed a player yet. I though Illunga and Beye (Although Willie's boys), would count?

If JR decides to keep faith with him, its no good the fans waiting for him to fail. Its a matter of trusting JR.

But we already have 80 threads about it. And this one was started after we got a fairly good point away at a top 10 team that we always lose to.

Saunders got his tactics right last night again.  IF anything he actually seems more comfortable managing the players that he didn't sign.  Last night the eleven were set up to be hard to beat, put a shift in and did what the manager asked.  Sadly that hasn't happened much in the last 18 months but last night we looked ok.  We've been better going forward but defensively we looked solid which was a positive.  I'd even go as far as saying a few look more confident post relegation (Friend, Hird, Oster, Coppinger) and no doubt Chris Brown has been an improvement up front.  Get him a nippy striker next season next to him and I'd be confident of a good front two.

How do you know most fans want him out?The fans that post on here are just a small minority of our supporters. How do you know about the rest that dont come on here or even have computers?

Wellred I clap my hands in your general direction. Some people know what it actually means to support a club.
