Paul Goodwin and Liam Hoden
« on April 28, 2012, 12:37:39 am by Chris Black come back »
A positive mention for these two guys from the Free Press who do a great job reporting Rovers. Anyone following them on Twitter knows they are first with news from KMS and always ask the difficult questions. We are lucky to have good local journos like these two.

I am not related to either of them.

Honest.

I agree, being in the FP prediction league I have been in contact with them all season and the amount of time they spend on Rovers stories is epic!
Well done boys! Keep it up...

I'm bumping this up again because Hoden has been tweeting live from the Rovers End of Season Awards Dinner and without this we would have bugger all information about what was going on. George Friend won player of season by the way. Husband won young player of the year.

Says it all, really. I'm sure that even George himself would admit he's not had a great season and yet there weren't too many other contenders.

Something I noticed re- George. Against Birmingham and again yesterday he had very poor games at centre-back. On both occasions his partner was Beye. Last week at Coventry, with Lockwood alongside him, he played very well. I do think you've got to look at centre-backs as pairings and neither SO'D nor Saunders have done this very well.

The free press should bring back the prediction league for all that they stopped this year. Two years ago it had about 1000 entries.

I seem to recall Sam Hird playing rather well when paired with Matt Mills

The prediction league has always had a handful of individuals. What you are thinking of is the Championship Challenge which also had a different point scoring system...

Husband won YPotS? Erm, okay...

Friend was dire yesterday but he's been alright when he's played this season. I'm not sure anybody really deserves it. Suppos they weren't allowed to award it to Sharp!

Sam won this season's VSC Player of the Season (from the cumulative total of MOTM points).

I told him this week, and he was delighted.  He's hoping to be here next season, but says it will depend on what deal they can sort out.

Think these boys do a fantastic job!

Infact if your follow Rovers may as well read the free Press or follow them on twitter cos the official comment is always behind and dull!

I have an awful feeling that many of the "local" lads won't be with us next season, from the whispers I've been hearing the colours red and white and blue and white seem to crop up a lot
