Official website - club statement
« on August 01, 2012, 09:35:37 am by silent majority »
I've just had this from the club, if you wish to make comment on the new site can you e-mail the club as requested? In addition Steve will be happy to meet with a few supporters to discuss the website layout and make whatever changes they can. Until all the clubs have completed their work no changes are possible, but Steve and DRFC will be happy to listen to what your opinions are. Can I suggest you let the club know, or put it on here, if you would like to meet up?

The official website is a large part of the club's communication set up and as such we are aware of problems that have been caused by the switching over of all the Football League clubs to a new provider. A mammoth task that has meant that each club has had to transfer everything over from one site to another in a short space of time.

With nearly all the 86 clubs websites now transfered over, there should be a noticable speed gain on loading, but we are aware of numerous problems in speed, access and design which we have strongly made the Football League aware of with all the other clubs. We will be having a meeting with FLi and the designers shortly to put forward all this but would like your help. Please send us constructive comments on the site about layout, problems and access that we can pass on by emailing them to media@doncasterroversfc.co.uk. Please don't put your comments on facebook as we need to compile and send as a report to the providers.
