About time too. Never seen them win in the handful of games I've seen. Doubt the funds will be there to push on wards but a comfortable Championship team, they are.

Well done to the Dons.

Good foundation this season, so promotion to the Championship is a much steadier situation next season.

They've always been the biggest team in South Yorkshire, so go out and hammer them Sheffield Eagles next season.

I Know it will never happen but,can you imagine if on a matchday we played first, then the Dons straight after and you could buy a combined ticket for both games, the Dons attendances would go up,ours maybe a couple of hundred, the drawback ofcourse would be damage to the pitch, but if they could schedule it so neither has a midweek home game, the groundsman would then have the week to prepare for the next fixture, could it work? :scarf:

Might not work on the same day but you've got an idea there with the combined ticket.

Maybe a twelve noon kick-off for our game and say an hour between the games,it would bring in a better revenue for both teams, obviously the Dons would benefit more with there crowds not being as big

Beleive me you could not do it on the sme day.The pitch has to be marked out and, more importantly the posts have to be taken down and others put back up.

I worked at Leeds Road and Elland Road for Huddersfield and Hunslet RLFC's, and the only way you could play back to back was football first and Rugby second, but on Saturday and Sunday.

Big congratulations to the Dons on their promotion! Congratulations on their website too that actually loads quickly, is easy to navigate and where I can find video via the Freepress that actually works on my I pad :woohoo:
Hope the blue and gold see much more success!
I also really like the idea of promotion to the Championship....a blue and gold, red and white double would be nice  :scarf:

Well done Andy, I know that when ZI was at Elland Rd and the old Leeds Road it could not be turned round in that time. Mind you it was nearly 20 years ago so you may have better materials to work with these days.

Cheers Andy,i wasn't sure it could be done ,maybe an idea for the club to look into, might provide stronger links between both clubs and help us both be successful :scarf:
