See hes joined the rovers to do with our new recruitment drive

Im actually starting to warm to Saunders and with him travelling the whole of england to recruit for players

Cant fault with his commitment to the cause and wanting to take the academy seriously

We should all get behind Saunders

Welcome back Brian Flynn, sure his experience will be a big help. I remember him last time he was here, great player, in fact he was the second best passer of a ball I have seen in a Rovers shirt behind the other Brian who just left, hope he's brought his booits.

Great passer of the ball. At 5'3'' surely the smallest footballer to ever play for the Rovers? Or was that Mickey Nesbitt?

Seem to remember Brian Flynn started the turn around at Swansea; albeit with amazing managers like Kenny Jackett, Roberto Martinez and then Brendan Rodgers.
Not so sure about the impact of Paolo Sousa, but at least they continued to kick on.

This season won't be easy, it never is, when any team has been relegated, however I am optimistic about things in the long term.

Firstly thanks to Silent Majority, Gavin Baldwin etc; off the pitch.
Major strides forward.

On the pitch, Deano is pieceing together a really tasty squad.
Please don't forget we're still in transition, but let's get behind the lads at the Bescot on Saturday. It's like the grey bus stop at Blandford Park, so the atmosphere in the away end will be great when we get behind the team.

Looking forward to Saturday........

I always thought that, however he was 5ft 7" apparently. Never seemed it though

Simon Gillett was 4'3"

Leo was 4'9" but only when he jumped.

Ah. If we're going on that criterion, then the WingCo did a David Rappaport impersonation when HE jumped.

Les.

I'm going to go against all my principles and say that our best passer was someone from the old days.

Ian Snod. His passing was so cute, I used to get a semi-on watching it. And he could tackle like a Marvin Hagler right hander. THE complete Rovers player.

Chris Balderstone was a superb passer of the ball. He could land it on a threp'ny bit from 50 yards.
