On DROS now...just a small aside..the attendance on sat was shown on the BBC site as 4937 but on the DROS report it shows 5243. Any ideas as to the difference anyone...just interested thats all..

Pleased with this signing, but then I was sort of expecting someone we hadn't heard of. We were all aware Paynter was most likely signing, so I wonder if more are on the way?

Still, he can hit the net, certainly at this level, so I think we should all give him a chance and I reckon he'll come good for us. I remember I disliked him ever since he swore at a ball boy when he played against us at Belle Vue, but as that was nearly 10 years ago I think I'll let it slide

Why are we signing another tall striker when Saunders just needs to get his support strikers to run where Brown dinks the ball?

What after one game? I'll be happy to say I was wrong if and when Paynter and Brown can produce regularly. And by the way, I was well chuffed with saturdays result but I am still dissalusioned with football in general. Sorry about that!
