IMPORTANT NOTICE - Road Closure

White Rose Way, and access to the Motorway (M18) is closed tonight from 21:00 until 06:00am tomorrow morning.

I'm sure diversions will be in place but you will be delayed.

I normally take my Dad to the interchange in Hull to get the last bus up the coast but tonight I'll be doing the whole trip now

Still, it's all in the name of progress eh?  It should never have been a single carriageway access from the M18.

- A630 Balby Road – This will involve 24/7 inbound lane closures, with restricted outbound lane closures, although in the main these will be removed by 1530hrs to cater for the evening peak period.

        Later in the scheme there will be a series of night time inbound road closures that will finish resurfacing the carriageway from the A1M junction through to Balby Bridge.

Can anyone confirm that you can still walk over the railway bridge between B&Q and white rose way?

I'm guessing they have just changed the time from 21:00 to 22:30 and left the 'due to roadworks, there will be no access to the M18 Jct 3 after the game' bit on the end from the earlier statement, as obviously if it did start at 9 there wouldn't be any access.

This is what I'm hoping anyway!!

Think DaveDRFC has it right. There would be no point opening the stretch to B&Q until 10.30pm but then shutting access to the Motorway from 9pm. Official Site should make it clear though as this could put people off attending!

Would be a bugger to get stuck like f*** for the sake of real information ...

... and perhaps as bad to park at Belle Vue and walk when not really necessary. (I walk miles a day so no idleness involved)

Answering my own question ...

TraxFM reporting that WRW and the road past B&Q will not be closed until 22.30 OR when traffic has subsided *

* That could therefore be even later than 22.30
