Day 1 and i'm already in awe of some of these incredible athletes. The Chinese lad who just won the C1-3 Time Trial Cycling was sensational.

Going to be a fantastic 11 days of Sport  :thumbsup:

Seems that unlike the 3 of us , no one feels that these games are worthy of discussion. Where have you 'sports lovers' been ffs ?
If that 100m final on it's own failed to inspire some of the couch potatoes on here then some need to take a long hard look at their opinions on both disability and human endeavour.

Folks (if this post refers to you specifically) all you need to look at are full stadia to perhaps question your views.
As for me , I've enjoyed every bloody moment of it and especially watching a one legged man from this country run a 10.9 100m. Fantastic effort amongst many Honnie Peacock. :)

I've lost all the respect I had for Pistorius over the past week or so....disability or not, he's just a whinging t**t !

I think he rescued his rep. slightly at the end. A great result from all involved..........a great great show.
