I see Donny is still a back water of socialist communist wannabes. Chuffed to bits I escaped when I did.
It's downright bloody scary that even a single person thinks this man is fit to be an MP - never mind our PM.

One thing I have never been able to understand is why people like Hoola who come from working class backgrounds (I apologise if that makes you feel inferior Hoola) would ever want to vote for a party that looks after its own.I don't have a problem with anyone who can afford to send their kids to private schools and would prefer to be treated in private hospitals rather than the NHS voting Tory, indeed I would do the same if I was so privileged. What I cannot understand is why you think it is good to privatise all the utility companies so they are now mostly owned by foreign companies and we end up paying through the nose for our gas, water and electricity.Bankers are ripping us off everyday and nothing is done about it.The NHS is slowly being privatised as is the education system. We have a prime minister who is clueless and a chancellor who is sticking to his one policy even though we are now worse off than when he took the job. Oh yes but that is the previous governments fault isnt it?No sorry it's now down to the Euro. It's anybody's fault but mine in other words. And still you think this government is our best option. And still the working man votes for these clowns.
What you mean they stopped the Henley Regatta to vote for Boris the Morris(as in Morris dancer) i can just see him twirling the ribbons and dancing around, tell me how many children's wards have they cut down south?,kid's up north with heart problems now have to go to Newcastle instead of Leeds, have they cut any of the millions of art museums or theatre's down south?-no!!-give me Donny people any day of the week over most southerners,we might be a bit rough round the edges, but there are still good people in Donny

As for the man being a fool , I think perhaps some of you who would prefer the Beast of Bolsover really need your heads seeing to! As for being a buffoon , some of you might like to check up on his education qualifications. What is it with you daft 'living in cloud nine' Socialist Workers types on here ; don't you think it's time to grow up and join the real world at your ages ? Perhaps you're all greeting the threat of a possible national strike with glee as well........I could weep.
His education! Do you still tug your forelock at your betters? The guy is an absolute walking disaster. Numerous affairs, illegitimate children, sacked from the Times due to plagarism, offending entire cities with his hugely uninformed comments, very suspect views on race. All of this ignored because he acts like a fat Hugh Grant. Absolute joke of a man whether he went to Eton or Rosso Comp.

I'm all for a stronger private sector and a reduction in the size of the public sector because it works better. If the public sector could do things more efficiently and cheaply then things should stay there but realisitically they can't (or won't). There's plenty of reasons private companies can do things much better, but there's this notion that we're all big bad companies. We're not.
I Stand corrected wilts rover, they always say don't comment on politics but i can't resist, you are right about knowing my facts before commenting ,they have absolutely decimated library's,everything's cut, cut, cut, the Heritage centre and the museums you've mentioned are a total sin,how are the kid's going to develop interest in things like these, actually seeing something that has been dug out of the ground from centuries before creates the buzz of learning, anyway i fell in to 'Boris the Morris' trap ' i will hang my head in shame,i just hope i don't develop the funny haircut and bicycle clips
Lego are producing a set of Olympic figures and one of them is going to be Boris on a zip wire. HaHa.
