The management are to blame not the dj's. They have been totally remiss in their duties for not having a procedure in place for dealing with enquiries about Kate. I'll bet they gave her a right hard time afterwards as well.

Those of you blaming the dj's need to get a sense of humour and some perspective. Where were you yesterday after the prank call? I don't recall any of you being up in arms about it then.

There is an easy solution. Abolish the Royal Family. Sorted.

Of course it was funny. Get a life all you sanctimonious so and so's. Kate is partly to blame. It's the first time I've ever heard of anyone going into hospital just because of a bit of morning sickness. One rule for the Royals and another for the plebs.

For instance it is said she felt very alone. How does this square with the hospital management saying they were doing all they could to support her? Read between the lines.

There is blame all round. The dj's are partly to blame. However the management must take the bulk of the blame for putting her in the  'receptionist' role in the first place. It's also clear that any 'support' they offered her was not good enough.

Part of good health care is preventative care, and if a few days in the hospital with hydration and medications prevents dehydration and any subsequent  issues related to it during pregnancy, it is totally appropriate, whether she is a royal or not.

All I'm saying is that if she hadn't been a Royal then she probably would have done what the rest of pregnant women do and just got on with it. It's because she's a Royal that she is deemed to be special so all the stops get pulled out for the slightest thing.

The best hospitals, the best treatment etc. If this wasn't the case then none of this would have happened, so the Royals are partly to blame.

The only problem is that it's not the kind of condition where you can get 'just get on with it'. The problems that can result are severe electrolyte imbalance, acute renal failure, altered mental status or medication side effects and fetal compromise.  That should help put it in perspective a bit.

No-one could reasonably have expected what has happened. It was a phone prank, plain and simple. It was funny. It's very sad what's happened but to vilify the dj's is absolutely ridiculous.

Why am I the only one questioning the management? Why did they not have proper procedures in place for handling the inevitable phone calls that would be coming due to the very high profile nature of the patient? It's typical of all you knee-jerk merchants to blame the dj's instead.

Because the management have not lied. Unlike the djs who lied, misrepresented themselves, were deceptive, cruel and heartless in their subsequent behaviour. And the fact that you are standing up for them makes the reason why you wont admit to lying in another thread - you dont know the difference between right and wrong, morality and not - there is a reason why you are the only person finding this funny and its staring you in the mirror.
