Yes it must be a very long time since we had a feature on national BBC.  I hope it doesn't result in a case of 'After the Lord Mayor's show...'

And a few who never played for us at all - Shields? Akimi? No wonder we went down, we couldn't spell the players' names right!

Although only a preview will prob all be about Saunders and 5 mins of rovers.

Thought the piece was very good. Seems Deano has knocked the training ground into shape and the decor with the 'mottos' on the wall look very professional.

His reference to signing players with character struck a chord with the 'experts'. Maybe something Dave Jones up the road should have thought about.

Think it's something to do with Premier League highlights - there's a lot of footage on there which the BBC aren't allowed to show online. I've never seen it on iPlayer anyway. I don't know where else to look as it's not the kind of thing that gets uploaded a lot.

Anyway, I quite enjoyed the piece on Rovers, a decent length and a nice look inside life at the club. One question though - why do we still have last season's team written down in Deano's office? Either he barely uses it or he's got a pretty dodgy memory!

That wasn't actually in the piece they showed on TV. I think that's just a little extra bit.

The TV piece was more about Rovers than Saunders telling stories about his career.
