but if people dont leave it till the last minuet we could get more to sell its the same at home they leave it till the day then complain that they miss the first 10/15 mins it is always the last moment with rovers fans

Sometimes it is a last minute decision though, that's just how it is.  In that case, I am prepared to pay on the day, and queue if necessary.  That is the risk I take.

Talking to Tacey, she asked me to ask you all to PLEASE GET AWAY TICKETS FROM THE OFFICE INSTEAD OF 'pay on the day' as rovers make money for selling the tickets, otherwise the club make nothing from an away games but we do get commition from away tickets

  but there are no tickets at the rovers ticket office as they have sold out, and no more was sent as they would have only been on sale from 9am this morning till about 2-4pm this afternoon.

thats the point she is making if people get them sooner we can get more then we get more money but fans leave it late

You are both right of course vicar but it's nearly always been like this as far as I can remember anyway and the lost revenue mounts up in a season.
Btw how you getting there tomorrow, where you drinking and what time. Arr lass has to go to Stockport anyway so is dropping me off at the pub , grabbing a buttie then picking me up from said pub later .........we have 2 spare seats in the car.

You forget that some folks are not in a position to buy in advance!  I won't know if I can get to this game until 1030 ish this morning, and would need then to leave about 11.  Of course I then accept its POD for me and I will need to leave enough time to queue for a ticket.

That's just how it is, and I'm sure I'm not alone.....
