you can't complain today

I thought that the lads effort today was outstanding the commitment was there - no sign of  complacency - now lets get behind then - if you moan today you must have gone with the intension of looking for the negatives not the positives.    :rtid:

Im positive. Still within touching distance if top, a much better performance and key players returning.

No reason we can't win the next two. I think our blip is coming to an end.

Good game today against our bogey team who are in the form of the season - was it 8 wins on the spin for them? - and we've played them off the park. Any other time of the season that would be seen as a great result, it does mean we haven't won in 5 but can't complain about the team's performance today at all. If it wasn't for the human +1 handicap in goal, their keeper having a blinder and a stonewall penalty being turned down we would've beaten the form team in the division quite comfortably. Plenty of good stuff to take from today.

Really good performance today. We had some great chances, over 60% possession (according to bbc) and should have had a nailed on penalty, which might have won us the game.

Totally different mentality to last two games and it showed! Let's win on Tuesday and then we've got Hartlepool next week!  :aok:

If we don't go up this season it will not be our goals against, it will be our lack of taking chances, yet again. Good performance but no win . We need a striker, if we don't get one it will cost us.

Much improved. The midfield looked so much better with Keegan in there, the Everton lad looked alright and it was good to see Hume and Syers back on the field.

Why though did we take Paynter off and then play the last 15 mins putting in crosses and long throws into Hume, Coppinger and Bennett? Particularly when they were competing against the likes of that lanky Stick. Seemed a bit futile to me.

First half I could see why they are doing so well closing down every ball giving us nothing, still we got some decent chances away plus the goal. second half if thought we had them on the ropes we just couldn't find the final touch. Hope this gives the lads confidence to go all out on Tues then the charge up the league will be back on

First half we looked like a team fighting relegation. Second half we looked like a team chasing promotion.

Much happier today, BUT what is the point of Jones Flicking Spurrs long throws on (a clearly rehearsed move) when NOBODY bothers to follow it up. Every time the big man gets a crucial flick, its simply cleared or gathered by the keeper.

Will we ever score from a long throw? (apologies if we have but dont remember one)

Thought it possibly the best game of football at home all season. We've seen some pretty dull games but today was very entertaining, despite only getting a point.

A decent performance, but the best we played at home all season was the Orient game.

Yeah sorry, I should have said not the best we've played, but the best game of football taking both sides into account.

Thought we were excellent today, especially second half when we could & should have won the game. Don't know what was in the half-time tea but it worked, we looked determined, passed the ball better than we have in a long time, & created a couple of great chances in another game we would have taken. All in all a lot of positives to take from today, & hopefully we can take them into the next couple of games.

I'd say the second half was possibly the best we've played at home all season. The Orient game probably seemed better but they didnt really offer much in terms of resistance. Yeovil are a bloody good side and caused us no end of problems. Yet we still managed to be the better side, played when we could play but also battled well when we had to. Very good performance.

I thought we were good after a sluggish start (why do we start so slowly at home- it has cost us on several occasions?) and had enough chances to win the game. Yeovil are a good side on a good run. Play like that and we'll soon be winning again.

Almost a relief to be able to say "2 points dropped" after a game given the last few weeks. We came back well after a bad start and should have won it in the second half. Its always hard to properly judge an away side when they score an early goal but Yeovil were nowhere near as good as I'd feared. This league is still well and truly there for the taking.

Up till about 40 mins we were awful. Then Husband looked like the only one playing with any spirit. I think his yellow spurred us on cos after that he set Paynter up for that sitter and his shot led to the corner we scored from. Second half much better, looked to get ball down more and play to wings instead of aimless lumps. Husband MOTM for me with Quinn a close second
