End of season.

Come the end of the season how many points do you think it will take to get automatic?
I've just done the BBC predictor and got 77 points, that looking over recent season would just get us play offs.

Well nobody at the top seems to want to go for it, every time someone threatens to pull away they bottle it and lose a couple! I think if any team puts together a real run of form like Yeovil has then they'll win the league. There isn't a standout team anymore, the league is there for the taking, let's hope we're the ones who reach out and grab that top spot!

Fair point, we've got the players to do it! Not the best of leagues at all and i think 80 points will you get you one of the top spots.

I couldn't say how many points we'll get really. You'd probably think 80 would get you automatic with the league being the way it is?

Well most at the top have 13 games left to play, none are good enough to go on a massive winning streak so I'd say that whichever teams pick up 6-8 wins and 2-3 draws will finish in the top 2.

So 25 more points and we'll be there or there abouts    ;) :scarf:

But there lays our advantage.  Every win in those games leaves us needing to do less against the rest.

depends how you look at it at the minute mk dons are 14th and also think cov will fall away abit now robins has left, and any teams at the top would rather play teams from mid table as teams near the bottom are fighting for their lives and by no easy game on Tuesday with Shrewsbury on a good run and would think just about looking safe and Hartlepool scrapping for points

I'm thinking 81 should just about do it with 75 for playoffs. think it will remain tight at the top.

February has been a tough month but - and it's very much a personal view - we're only 3 points off what I expected us to have by this stage anyway.

My hunch is that we could be about to go on a run that could see us get 20 points from the next 8 games. Would be great if we did.

However, my hunch also says that we will only bag 1 point from our last five games.

So that would get us to 80 points, involve a Cheltenham-like last day at Brentford and ultimately result in a play-off spot.

If we get the deedars at Wembley at least we can afford to be a little less nervous. They've never won a playoff final have they?
