Unless he's referring to these supporters in an additive sense Nice One.

Got to say he wasnt great, better off the ball than with it. I thought Keegan was excellent. I was screaming for Syers to come on instead of the young lad but when we did our midfield went flat.

I'd agree with that, he did show a few touches of class when he had a bit of space but when under pressure he often lost possession. Signs were promoising that hes got a lot to contribute once he gets used to the pace of this division.

Keegan didn't look up to speed at all and made several mistakes. Not sure what game some of you were watching?

That said I'd keep him in the team, our other options in the middle are dire. As for Lundstram, thought it took him time to get into the game but he wasn't all that bad and should do better when he knows his team mates a bit better.

It doesn't matter if he makes the odd mistake, his presence makes us look far more solid.

That is true and I didn't look at it like that. Like I say I'd much rather have him in the team than Harper or Woods.

I would be amazed if he never made a mistake, every midfielder does, what is important is that when it happens he tries to make amends by trying to get the ball back. I wasn't there but from the commentary the lad seemed to have a decent game after the first 20 mins. I hope the lad from Burnley can be as good.
It seemed to give Copps and others at the front more confidence knowing the midfield wouldn't want propping up every two minutes.

I thought the kid looked a quality player, a bit of a nervy start but was always moving and giving options for passes.

Keegan has gone from being a joke figure to our best central midfielder, i think its a sign of him improving with a run of games, finding his level in this league and unfortunately also a sign of how far we've gone backwards in that department.

Much, much better though in general on Saturday, shame we didn't get the 3 points the performance deserved, it's the first home game in a long time that i've come away from and actually enjoyed having been there!

Bet he starts again in midfield on Tuesday night. Don't think he as been sent here not to play, having listen to BF interview, I could be wrong.

Thought the new lad did ok. It was always going to take sometime to get used to the pace of the game, getting used to players who don't always do the right thing, getting used to be served with a hospital pass etc.

As the game wore on you could see he was willing to try one or two things to make space. It was definitely a case of him trying to find a comfort zone and learning al the time about the players around him.

Once he, Keegan, Copps, Cotts, Syers become more familiar, I think we're going to see some good stuff from him, especially on better pitches.

As for Keegan, just on basic ratio of being involved, he'll make more mistakes than Harper, but he'll also do ten times as may good things.

The new lad will benefit from Keegan's presence. Sometimes you need a player to ride 'shot gun' whilst you perform with a bit of protection.

I beg to differ. I reckon Keegan will do more than 10 times f**k all good things.

Well, it sounds from tonight we've acquired a corker. Everyone on all channels were singing his praises for running the midfield like that at such a young age.

Roll on Saturday.
