I think they will take it as late as possible, as most fans are only coming from within a 20 mile radius.  My guess would be 1pm.

Harsh on those coming from further afield if it gets called off late, but they have to give it every chance.

I'm in Epworth, about 10 miles from Scunny and its a good few inches deep and still falling.

Depends on whether our 6 fingered friends want it on or not. I would put it 70/30 not being on, but what do I know?

If I were in your situation I probably wouldn't risk the travel.  The game may be on, but the journey itself may be hazardous...

Doubt if i can get a refund, i choose to live in Sheffield so i suppose thats the consequence. Its at least 8" here the blunts was called off 2 hours ago so you can see how bad it is here. Thanks for the thought though.

Aye, they're what I meant. A lot quicker than the 'proper' bus too I'd imagine (in fact I don't even know if a service bus goes to Scunthorpe from here).

Well that's why I initially said get train from Sheffield to Doncaster otherwise would have said get train direct sheff to Scunthorpe
