Agreement reached on the sale of Fratton Park to the Trust.
http://www.portsmouth.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=534367

They will still be docked 10 points when they leave administration, but
still great news for all concerned with that club.

I hope they celebrate at Brentford's expense on Saturday.

Great news for their fans.

Hope they can now run it well and profitably, and maybe even help some of the local businesses who must have lost out

Quelle surprise!

They were never going to go to the wall.

With the size of support that they have and their recent history there was no way that they would be wound-up, no matter how dark it looked at stages.

Common sense prevails but more so all the hard work done (so far) by the Supporters Trust has seen to be effective.

A very important step forward for football governance and the role of a supporters trust.

It could be that Pompey start next season in league 2 with a clean slate.

Whatever you may or may not feel about Portsmouth, that's probably the best outcome for their fans?

How long until we see QPR doing the same thing?
